At the beginning of the road to farming, Yang Hongjun bought 100 kilograms of yellow mealworms outside,because he had no breeding experience, the yellow mealworms died box by box. After some groping, Yang Hongjun learned that yellow mealworms should not be fed too moist food during the adult stage, otherwise they would easily die. The correct way to breed mealworms is to feed them dry during the adult stage .

“The production of a box is about 4 catties, the price is about 10 yuan per catty, and the daily order is about 1,000 catties.” Speaking of the profits, Yang Hongjun was even more delighted . As business becomes more and more prosperous, Yang Hongjun in their own yard also set up a plant, specifically for packing, sending express."In the future, I hope to drive the villagers to breed together, together to increase income and get rich."Yang Hongjun said.

齊魯網·閃電新聞11月17日訊 走進慶云縣常家鎮東小楊村的黃粉蟲養殖基地，一股微甜的氣味撲面而來。廠房內，錯落有致地擺放著5000個養殖盒，淡黃色的小蟲子在養殖盒里面蠕動著。該基地負責人楊紅軍正在給黃粉蟲投食，切好的南瓜、面包，一層一層地撒在盒子里。

2015年，一次偶然的機會，楊紅軍在與朋友交談中，了解到黃粉蟲蛋白質含量豐富，既可供人食用，也可當做鳥、魚的飼料。“別看黃粉蟲小，可掙錢咧。”聽了朋友的話，楊紅軍對黃粉蟲越來越感興趣。同年，他就走上了“賣黃粉蟲”的道路。

頭幾年由于缺乏資源，楊紅軍只能從別人那里進貨，再通過網上賣出。今年4月，為了節約成本，楊紅軍決定自己養殖黃粉蟲，于是他在村頭蓋了一個300平方米的養殖基地。剛走上養殖道路之初，楊紅軍從外面購進了100公斤黃粉蟲，由于沒有養殖經驗，黃粉蟲成盒成盒地死去。經過一番摸索，楊紅軍知道了黃粉蟲在成蟲期不能喂太濕潤的食物，否則容易死亡，正確的養殖方式是成蟲期喂干食。

“一盒的產量大約在4斤左右，每斤價格是10元左右，每天的訂單在1000斤左右。”說起收益，楊紅軍更是樂地合不攏嘴。隨著生意越來越紅火，楊紅軍在自己家院子里也搭建起了廠房，專門用于打包、發快遞。“未來，我希望帶動村民們一起養殖，一起增收致富。”楊紅軍說。
