Shandong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism recently announced the list of"the most beautiful urban libraries"and"the most beautiful rural libraries"in Shandong Province in 2022. The rural library in Zhongding village, Qingyun county, Dezhou city, won the title of"the most beautiful rural library", the only rural library enlisted in Dezhou city.

The library is located in the village culture experience hall of Zhongding village, Qingyun county. It was built in September 2018, with convenient transportation and clean surrounding environment. There are more than 6000 books in the library, covering disciplines such as politics, economy, law, science and technology, and agriculture.

The library is open for no less than 8 hours every day. It is equipped with air conditioning, providing a cozy environment for reading. Full-time personnel is responsible for book registration and daily maintenance.

In 2022, Qingyun county has taken the construction of rural libraries as an important part of the practice of civilization in the new era. It has completed a reading network across the county, including 1 county-level library, 9 township and sub district book branches, 18 rural library borrowing points and 8 urban libraries.
