“糧為國之本，民以食為天。”糧食是人類賴以生存的寶貴資源，是關系到國計民生的重要戰略物資。為大力弘揚中華優秀傳統文化，切實培養愛惜糧食、節約糧食的好習慣，引領簡約適度、綠色低碳的生活方式，10月25日，慶云縣嚴務鄉新時代文明實踐所帶領小朋友們深入田間，開展了一場“尊重農民，珍愛糧食”主題宣講活動。
活動中，志愿者和孩子們耐心講解水稻的生長過程，從一粒種子的播種，到生長期、抽穗期、灌漿期，再到現在的收割。孩子們在田間地頭收獲書本上沒有的知識，體會種植的快樂和艱辛。“剝開稻米外邊的殼，你就能看到里邊亮晶晶的大米。小朋友們，我們每天吃的大米就是這樣剝出來的，每一粒糧食都是來之不易的，所以我們要珍惜糧食。”志愿者徐征說。
